Flat pack assembly

Fighting with Ikea furniture is not everyone’s idea of an enjoyable weekend. In an average year, we assemble over 260 pieces of flat-pack furniture, for our clients all around Brisbane. We can even do store-pickups for furniture (on a reasonable per kilometre rate), and assemble and install on site as required. We also have plenty of experience doing commercial work, and installing furniture to a site plan.

General Maintenance

Our clients usually keep a list of things that need doing, and then give us a call when the list is long enough to have us out to take care of those things. Things on a general maintenance list might include dodgy sliding doors, broken cupboard handles (if you send us a pic before we come, we’ll bring a replacement), installing curtains and blinds, changing smoke alarm batteries, fixing a leaky tap, replacing shade-cloth in a garden or outdoor area, installing or removing appliances, etc. 

Minor carpentry

We can take on carpentry projects up to the value of $3,300. Most small projects can be done under this amount – things like adding or moving stairs on a deck, building children’s cubby houses, fixing or replacing a minor retaining wall in a garden, adding or moving an internal door, or even building a separate room inside a garage. 

Painting

We do small and large painting jobs, both internal and external. Walls, doors, hallways, bathroom refreshes – they’re all on the list of regular jobs for us. In addition to painting your home, we also do furniture painting. Our clients sometimes have a favourite piece of furniture they may have had for some time, and want to bring it up to a modern colour scheme. We’ve painted more dining tables chairs than you could ever list, and restored plenty of outdoor furniture sets, too.

Installation

We can install just about anything that you buy at the store that needs installing. Wall-mounting a TV is one of our most popular calls, as well as things like mirrors (including frameless mirrors), hanging paintings or pictures (one customer had us do a photo wall with 62 pictures!), toilet roll holders, hand towel dispensers, and even low-voltage electrical work like outdoor lights and wifi security cameras. 

Plaster and wall repairs

Most walls get dings, chips, cracks and holes as time passes. We’ve patched holes as small as a fingernail, and as large as a dining chair. If the damage is quite significant or extensive, sometimes we’ll cut out an entire section of the wall and replace it with new sheeting. Other times we can just fill it, sand it back, and paint over it. If you can tell us a little about the damage, we can give you an estimated cost to repair over the phone.
